Tranquil Mui Ne Beach, 5 days

Today, we travel by road from Ho Chi Minh  to Mui Ne, the most prominent coastal resort town in southern Vietnam. This journey takes anything between four to five hours depending on the roads and traffic conditions. We pass by Phan Thiet, one of the biggest production of fish sauce in Vietnam, on our way to Mui Ne.  This beach town was once a sleepy fishing village but has been changed  into a  popular beach destination.  The coastline is crammed  with an array of dining venues  and  luxurious beachfront resorts. The original fishing village is still in place, but there are more  tourists than  locals in some days. However,  this seaside resort  is still quiet and serene, great for walks , jogging and spectacular sunsets. On arrival in Mui Ne, we check in hotel and have free time to relax and unwind at your leisure.

The pristine beach makes for your perfect holiday in Mui Ne. Today, you can get an early swim, make fun on the  beach, stroll along the seaside and relax in the wave sound. We spend this afternoon exploring the geological wonders in Mui Ne,  Red Sand Dunes and White Sand Dunes. They are not to be missed on  your holiday in Mui Ne. You join a morning trip to the White Sand Dunes  or an afternoon tip to  the Red Sand Dunes. The sand color varies, giving these  two sand dunes different names, but  the most popular ones are the White Sand Dunes. The constant oceanic winds make daily sculpture of various incredible shapes into these sand dunes, providing an image of how dessert to be in the Middle East or Africa. The Red Sand Dunes are smaller ones with a rusty red brown colour and are absolutely beautiful place  for for photograph hunters. You will still find a beautiful spot to watch the beautiful sunset over the rolling red hills. The amber sand radiates an intense fiery red, allowing you to capture dramatic moments on film. You round off our excursion with a transfer back to your hotel.

The sunrise over beach  is nothing short of spectacular. You set your alarm and wake up early to watch the sunrise  over one of these beautiful sandy beaches  in Mui Ne or start your day with a walking along the beach and dipping into the cool water. Getting off the beach, you can spend your time to join one of our optional activities.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Mui Ne  Cooking Class -1/2 Day

The preparation secrets of  Vietnamese dishes  will be unveiled on this cooking tour. Today we start our morning cooking class with a visit to  the Ham Tien Market. We walk through many busy stalls and learn more about various local ingredients, including vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices. The master chef assists us in buying some ingredients for our culinary adventure. The cooking menu changes day by day  from  beef noodle soup, Mui Ne pancakes with sweet and sour sauce, fresh rice paper spring rolls with peanut sauce and seafood salad to chicken curry with sweet potato, rice noodles with grilled beef or pork and garlic sauce, Vietnamese fried spring rolls with chili sauce and  coconut jelly with sweetened milk. The  bustling atmosphere will be left behind as we come back to the cooking school. We get some instruction from the mast chef and execute the preparation to create a tasty four-course meal which we  will savor once it is done. You  can take home a folder of recipes to continue your Vietnamese cooking lessons in the future.  The cooking class ends with a transfer back to your hotel.

 The wonderful time on beach makes for a well-earned rest. You have this day at your leisure to relax or play a round of golf on the superb Nick Faldo-designed Ocean Dunes Golf Course, ride a bike along the coast, take a boat trip along the Phu Hai River or hike kite surfing for a funny game. The steady wind conditions make Mui Ne a top destination for windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing. You can spend this day for a well-earned rest on beach or join the kite surfing, one of the most attractive activities in Mui Ne. This surfing paradise draws kite-surfers from around the world. The beach vacation comes to an end today. You can book extra nights to extend your stay or leave Mui Ne for your next destination. There are private transfers and join buses from Mui Ne to Nha Trang , Da Lat and Ho Chi Minh or more.
